The Oklahoma State University Alumni Association has named 51 students as OSU Seniors of Significance for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Kingfisher’s Bree Taylor is among them.

The Seniors of Significance Award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.

The 51 students represent the top 1 percent of the Class of 2022, including all five OSU undergraduate academic colleges.

The Alumni Association honored students at a public reception Nov. 17 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.

Taylor was one of seven students named to the list from the Ferguson College of Agriculture.

She’s set to graduate in May 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and will immediately begin working toward her master’s in international agriculture.

The daughter of Bill and Brooke Taylor, she is a 2019 graduate of Kingfisher High School.

While at KHS, she was a part of the national championship livestock evaluation team and was a member of state champion teams in livestock evaluation, parliamentary procedure, meats evaluation and ag issues.

She was also a valedictorian in her class.
