Eighteen Kingfisher 4-H and FFA members participated Nov. 12 in the Local 4-H and FFA speech contest held at Kingfisher Middle School.

Six of the participants, of which five are Cloverbud members, recited the 4-H Pledge to three judges.

The remaining 4-H and FFA members presented speeches on an agricultural topic of their choice.

“The club leaders and parents are incredibly proud of their hard work and success,” said April Burns, Kingfisher County 4-H leader. “We will continue to support and encourage each of them.”

Kingfisher County Conservation District, represented at the event by Cara Gerken, and CHS Texoma, represented by Zack Meyer, sponsored the awards.
