The Kingfisher FFA chapter journeyed across the range to Tonkawa for the annual Northern Oklahoma College FFA Inter-scholastics Wednesday, Jan. 23.

The chapter took Career Development Event (CDE) teams competing in Agronomy, Agricultural Communications, Food Science and Meat Science Evaluation.

Kingfisher FFA Chapter took home the Multiple Teacher Sweepstakes Award for the event.

“NOC was a great way to start off our CDE season,” said Lori Burns co-adviser.

Following are the members of each team who participated and any individual honors:

• Agronomy (Kaci Jackson, junior, first place, Colby Campbell, junior, Kyle Fahlenkamp, junior)

• Agricultural Communications (Harrison Themer, junior, Elizabeth Perdue, junior, Grace Stinnett, sophomore)

• Food Science, fourth place (Chloe Lack, junior, third place, Ali Scammahorn, freshman, Makenna Wilson, freshman)

• Senior Meat Judging, first place (Peyton Burns, senior, fourth place, Lane Dobrovolny, senior, third place, Thomas Himes, junior, second place, Braden Burns, sophomore, first place)

• Junior Meat Judging, fifth place (Maxwell Hartman, junior, Dustin Mc-Lean, eighth grade, Kaden Kitchens, eighth grade, Jace Turner, eighth grade)
