Kingfisher FFA has 3 CDE state champion teams
Kingfisher FFA had three teams earn state championships in the state Career Development Events (CDEs) competition.
Winners were announced earlier this month at the Oklahoma FFA Convention in Tulsa.
Earning state championships were the parliamentary procedure, agriculture issues and meats evaluation and technology teams.
The meats team consisted of Caden Kitchens, Dustyn McLean, Nate Duncan and Mayce Gibson.
Kitchens was also the high-point individual while Gibson was fifth, McLean eighth and Duncan 10th.
The parliamentary procedure team was comprised of Natalie Garrett, Mia Hartman, Chloe Blair, Han-nah Francis, Kylie Hood, Laney Rose and Ashley Casillas.
Members of the ag issues team were Myka Elliott, Ivy Hartman, Bridget Himes, Natalie Garrett and Leyla Avila.
The Proficiency Award winners include Judson Birdwell, who was second in beef production, and Bridget Himes, second in ag processing.
In the public speaking competition, Garrett took home fourth place in ninth grade FFA opportunities.
Kingfisher placed fourth in the sweepstakes standings for multi-teacher programs behind Edmond, Silo and Owasso.
