The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report:

March 5 - Failure to wear seat belt, no driver’s license (second offense) and warrant.

Officer Aaron Schlegel said in his report that he observed a southbound vehicle in the area of U.S. 81 and Hill Avenue in which the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and he initiated a traffic stop.

According to the report, the 42-year-old female driver was driving without a valid driver’s license and had an active warrant in Kingfisher County. Schlegel placed the sus

Schlegel placed the suspect under arrest for the warrant and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.

The vehicle was released to the licensed passenger in the vehicle and the suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
