The following report is among those having been or currently being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
November 25 - Planning or threatening a violent act.
Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel responded to a report of a customer making threatening statements at McDonald’s, 1600 S. Main St.
According to the report, the on-duty manager stated that a customer was upset about receiving a supposed wrong order and threatened that she was “not afraid to use her second amendment rights to take care of things.”
McDaniel made contact with the 42-year-old female customer, who stated she confronted the on-duty manager about an incorrect order she’d received and had become upset when the manager allegedly insinuated she was a liar, but she denied making threatening statements, according to the report.
McDaniel said in his report that he spoke with another employee about the incident, who stated that he observed the altercation, but did not hear the suspect make threatening statements.
According to the report, McDaniel made contact with the manager again on the following day, in which he recanted his statement claiming the customer had threatened him.
