The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following report:

December 31 - No valid driver’s license.

Officer Derek Grassman was dispatched to a report of a reckless driver on northbound U.S. 81.

According to the report, a 60-year-old male driver appeared to be traveling at a higher rate of speed than the posted limit and the officer initiated a traffic stop.

The suspect was determined to be driving without a valid driver’s license, according to the report.

The suspect was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

The vehicle was inventoried and impounded, the report said.
