The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

May 19 - Theft of motor vehicle. Captain Travis Gray responded to a report of vehicle theft in the 1200 block of South 10th Street.

Michael Hart reportedly stated his 2006 Dodge truck had been stolen from his residence overnight as well as his umpire gear which was in the vehicle.

The reported value of the vehicle was $10,000.

May 19 - Domestic abuse assault and battery and planning or threatening violent act.

Officer Justin Trumbley responded to a report of domestic abuse in the 400 block of West Don Blanding.

Captain Travis Gray assisted with the investigation.

May 19 - Burglary-second degree (automobile). Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of vehicle burglary in the 500 block of Southview Drive.

Eric Jerkins reportedly stated he noticed the door to his 2010 Ford truck was open at approximately 7 a.m. and a 9mm pistol and nylon holster was missing from the vehicle.

The reported value of the firearm and holster was $300.

May 21 - Planning or threatening violent act. Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of an individual receiving threats of violence at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive.

According to the report, a female individual said two known females threatened her with acts of violence in the store and when she proceeded to the parking lot they continued the threats.

Conner said in his report that he contacted one of the suspects and she denied threatening the individual.

Conner had not been able to contact the other suspect regarding the incident, according to the report.

May 24 - Fraudulent use of credit card number. Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of credit card fraud at 102 S. Main St.

Annetta Vargas reportedly stated two fraudulent charges, each for $125, had been made to her credit card on May 19 at Casey’s convenience store.

Vargas said she lives in Texas, but had purchased gas in Oklahoma City on May 1, according to the report.

Trumbley contacted the manager at Casey’s and she stated she would review the surveillance video.
