Kingfisher PD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
March 19 - Larceny/ burglary of controlled dangerous substance. Officer Justin Conner was dispatched to Homestead Senior Living Center, 1604 S. 13th St. regarding stolen narcotics. According to the report, the director and another employee stated medications - at least one narcotic pill for three different residents - was missing or unaccounted for. A 42-year-old female employee was identified as a possible suspect, according to the report. Conner spoke with the suspect, who provided information about inconsistent medication logging procedures at the facility, the report said. Officers returned to the facility to further investigate the complaint and the alleged inconsistencies. Officer Matthew Hollon assisted with the investigation.
March 25 - Domestic assault and battery/ abuse. Lieutenant Justin Trumbley responded to a domestic altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street.
March 30 - Malicious injury/destruction of property and planning or threatening violent act. Officer Steven Renbarger responded to a report of an individual making threatening statements and property damage in the 200 block of East Fay Avenue. According to the report, a 37-year-old male suspect allegedly made threatening statements and threw a rock at the reporting party’s vehicle. Officer’s made contact with the suspect at the residence, the report said. Officer Kyle Svoboda assisted with the investigation.
April 2 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer over $1,000. Sergeant Charles Trout responded to a report of theft at Atwoods, 1213 S. Main St. According to the report, three individuals (two males and a female) were allegedly working together to shoplift items from the store. One of the male suspects exited the store with various DeWalt and Milwaukee power tools without paying for the merchandise, the report said. Employees obtained the license plate number of the vehicle in which the suspects fled, according to the report. The reported total value of the stolen items was $1,399.95.
April 2 - Endangering others while eluding police officer, speeding, reckless driving, improp er passing-no passing zone, obedience to and required traffic control devices and operating motorcycle without license and endorsement. Officer Steven Renbarger said in his report that he observed a northbound motorcycle on 13th Street traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. According to the report, the motorcycle failed to stop and continued at a high rate of speed eluding the officer until reaching the area of W 830 Road and NS 2850 Road when it left the roadway and proceeded into a field. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel and Officer Jarred Tech and Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Deputies Charles Blackburn, Brad Logan and Jason Wiebelt assisted with the investigation.
