The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

July 22 - Obtain money/property with false negotiable paper.

Officer Jeffrey Robbins responded to a report of counterfeit money being used to purchase goods at Walmart, 200 Starlite Drive.

According to the report, Robbins made contact with the store manager who stated she discovered 14 counterfeit $20 dollar bills in the morning count.

The manager reviewed the surveillance video and observed a male suspect make a purchase on July 18 with cash totaling $260, according to the report. Robbins said in his report that he also viewed the surveillance footage and observed the suspect making the transaction.

The manager was unable to determine when the remaining counterfeit $20 bill was received, the report said.

Robbins photographed, packaged and secured the counterfeit bills in the police department evidence room, according to the report.

July 29 - Domestic abuse assault and battery. Officer Jeffrey Robbins responded to a report of a verbal altercation at Payless Inn, 2300 S. Frontage Road.
