The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

January 29 - Unlawful carrying weapons.

Officer Tyler Girten said in his report he observed an eastbound vehicle on S.H. 33 in the area of Seventh Street with a defective third brake light and initiated a traffic stop.

According to the report, the 27-year-old male driver allowed the officer to search the vehicle and a pair of brass knuckles was located in the vehicle.

Girten said in his report the brass knuckles were confiscated.

The suspect was charged with unlawful carrying weapons.

February 5 - Driving with license canceled/ suspended/revoked.

Officer Tyler Girten said in his report that he observed a vehicle make an improper turn and initiated a traffic stop at U.S. 81 and Locust Avenue.

According to the report, the 38-year-old male driver was driving without a valid driver’s license.

Girten placed the suspect under arrest and he was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

The vehicle was inventoried and impounded, according to the report.

Officers Christopher McDaniel and Jeffrey Robbins assisted with the investigation.
