The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

June 30 - Grand larceny.

Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of a stolen trailer in the 400 block of North Fourth Street.

According to the report, Dennis Moss said a 20-foot Ditch Witch trailer was missing and he suspected it had been taken overnight.

Brodrick said in his report that he took photographs at the scene, but no prints were visible due to overnight rain.

June 30 - Protective order violation.

Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of a protective order violation.

Officer Quinton Cline assisted with the investigation.

July 1 - Malicious injury to property-over $1,000.

Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of property damage at 600 E. Bowman Avenue, Kingfisher Golf Course.

According to the report, Brodrick observed extensive damage to the No. 2 green presumably caused by a vehicle’s tires “braking and peeling out” on the green.

Brodrick took photographs of the damage and golf pro Gary Wilson estimated the costs of repairs to the green to be approximately $10,000, the report said.

July 1 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.

Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of an altercation at 2300 South Frontage Road, Payless Inn.

Officer Justin Conner assisted with the investigation.

July 1 - Found/lost property.

Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of a lost property.

According to the report, Rita Brown said she had lost her driver’s license, planned to get a new license and wanted to make a report in case someone attempted to use the one she had lost for illegal purposes.
