The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

August 11 - Grand larceny.

Officer Justin Trumbley took a report of theft from a vehicle at the Kingfisher garbage collection site.

Bryan King reportedly stated his company truck was parked at the collection site and he noticed a Falcon F2 locate system and Craftsman tool box were missing from the vehicle.

The reported value of the Falcon F2 locate system was $20,000 and $100 for the toolbox.

Trumbley said in his report that he is checking to determine if any surveillance video may have captured footage of the incident.

August 11 - Larceny of lost property.

Officer Aaron Schlegel took a report of theft at Love’s Country Store, 203 S. Main St.

Patrick Sorenson reportedly stated he lost his wallet in Love’s parking lot and it was turned into a store employee, but $510 was missing when he received it back.

Schlegel spoke with supervisors at the store regarding the incident and reviewed surveillance footage with them, according to the report.

A suspect was identified and interviewed, the report said.

Sergeant Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

August 12 - Complaint.

Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report of suspected marijuana sales at Cimarron Nursing Center, 905 Beall Road.

According to the report, an employee allegedly brought marijuana into the facility on June 24 and asked a resident to assist her in selling the product to other residents of the facility.

The director of nursing reported the incident to the appropriate authorities, the report said.
