Kingfisher Police Department reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
May 25 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.
Officer Justin Trumbley responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 800 block of South Third Street.
May 27 - Domestic abuse by strangulation, malicious injury/destruction of property, domestic assault and battery/abuse, burglary-first degree, interfering with emergency call, malicious injury/destruction of property and planning or threatening a violent act.
Officer Tyler Girten responded to a report of an altercation at Payless Inn, 2300 Frontage Road.
June 3 - Impersonating another by written instrument.
Officer Travis Gray took a report of identity theft.
Joseph Maschino reportedly stated an unknown party had attempted to fraudulently collect unemployment using his personal information.
June 7 - Littering highway, unlawful possession of paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs prohibited-marijuana.
Officer Jeffrey Robbins said in his report that he observed a northbound vehicle on U.S. 81 with its high beams on as well as a malfunctioning headlight and initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle. According to the report,
According to the report, Robbins also observed a defective tail light as well as the passenger throw a small clear plastic baggie from the window during the traffic stop, which the officer recovered.
Robbins and Officer Brandon Chapman searched the vehicle and discovered “a black sock containing a used syringe, a glass meth pipe with burnt residue, a clear plastic baggie containing a crystal-like substance and a small clear plastic baggie containing a green leafy substance,” the report said.
According to the report, the 41-year-old male passenger had outstanding warrants and a suspended driver’s license, but the female driver had a valid driver’s license.
The driver was issued citations for failure to comply with compulsory insurance law and defective equipment and released.
The passenger was placed under arrest for littering, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
According to the report, the crystal-like substance in both baggies field tested positive for methamphetamine and the green leafy substance also field tested positive for marijuana.
