Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

December 4 - Warrant.

Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel said in his report he observed a northbound vehicle on U.S. 81 traveling at a rate of speed exceeding the posted limit.

According to the report, McDaniel initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the 28-year-old male driver who was driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Dispatch advised the officer that the driver had an outstanding warrant in Canadian County, the report said.

The suspect was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrant and issued a warning for speeding and a citation for driving with a suspended license.

The suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center and the vehicle was inventoried and impounded.

December 8 - Public intoxication.

Officer Aaron Schlegel said in his report that he observed an individual on an electric scooter stop at the intersection of U.S. 81 and Erwin.

According to the report, the 29-year-old male driver “fell off and remained laying on the ground for approximately 30 seconds.”

Schlegel made contact with the individual who appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication, the report said.

The suspect was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

December 19 - Terroristic threat.

Sergeant Charles Trout took a report of threatening notes in the 1400 block of Elks Drive.

According to the report, a 46-year-old female stated threatening messages were written on pizza boxes she received from Casey’s General Store on two separate occasions.

Trout said in his report that he obtained photographs of the boxes and would follow up with management at Casey’s General Store regarding the incident.

December19-Stalking.

Sergeant Charles Trout driver drove off, turned around, returned and asked her for directions. The woman stated that it appeared to be the same individual she had encountered previously at Walmart, the report said. Trout obtained a photograph of the suspect’s vehicle from a neighbor’s surveillance video and also requested surveillance footage of the incident at Walmart, according to the report.

A 30-year-old female reportedly stated she acknowledged a male subject in line behind her at the Walmart photo center and also observed that he was in line behind her in the checkout lane.
