Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

July 5 - Petit larceny- state.

Officer Justin Conner took a report regarding a stolen license plate from a vehicle.

According to the report, Jason Sanders stated that his daughter had driven her vehicle to Kingfisher on July 3 and her license plate was missing when she returned.

July 7 - Unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, unlawful possession of paraphernalia, driving with license canceled/ suspended/revoked and transporting open container- liquor.

Officer Steven Renbarger said in his report that he observed a northbound vehicle on U.S. 81 with its tail lights not illuminated and initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Main Street.

According to the report, the 34-year-old female driver was driving without a valid driver’s license and was placed under arrest.

Also in the vehicle was 41-year-old male in the front passenger seat and another female passenger in the back seat, the report said.

Officers located a syringe underneath the car near the front passenger door and, upon inventory of the vehicle, also located another syringe with clear liquid inside, a syringe in a tool bag and an open bottle of vodka, according to the report.

The female driver was placed under arrest for driving while suspended, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and transporting an open container of alcohol.

The male passenger was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia.

The suspects were transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Field tests were performed on two of the syringes, which produced positive results for methamphetamine, the report said.

Officer Kyle Svoboda assisted with the investigation.

July 8 - Domestic assault and battery/abuse.

Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 1200 block of Coleman Trail.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley assisted with the investigation.
