The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

August 17 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer. — Officer Christopher McDaniel responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive. According to the report, an asset protection employee stated “a male and female had come into the store multiple times over the last several months shoplifting in several ways.” McDaniel said in his report that he was able to identify the 57-yearold male and 51-year-old female. The suspects reportedly stole various items through the self-checkout on Dec. 7, 2024 and Aug. 1, 2025. Additionally, the male suspect stole more items on July 6, Aug. 17 and Aug. 24, the report said. Officer Jarred Tech assisted with the investigation.

August 24 - Larceny of merchandise from retailer. — Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of theft at Walmart, 200 W. Starlite Drive. According to the report, a 62-year-old female suspect stole several items of merchandise through the self- checkout. The reported total value of the items was $57.61.

August 30 - Operate/ APC vehicle under infl uence of intoxicating substance and speeding. — Officer Steven Renbarger said in his report he observed a southbound vehicle on U.S. 81 traveling at a rate of speed above the posted limit and initiated a traffic stop. According to the report, the suspect appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication and field sobriety tests were performed. The 33-year-old male suspect was placed under arrest for driving under the influence, issued a citation for speeding and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. Officer Jarred Tech performed an inventory of the suspect’s vehicle and it was towed. Deputy Jeremy Conner assisted with the investigation.
