Kingfisher Police Department reports listed

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

Aug. 13 - Public intoxication. Officer Jeffrey Robbins responded to a report of a suspicious male in the 200 block of North Main Street.

Robbins said in his report that he observed a male matching the description in the 500 block of North Main Street and made contact with the individual.

According to the report, the 40-year-old male suspect exhibited signs of intoxication and a field sobriety test was performed.

The suspect was unable to complete the sobriety test satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for public intoxication, the report said.

After the suspect received medical clearance for incarceration at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher, he was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Aug. 16 - Unauthorized use of a vehicle and burglary of a vehicle.

Officer Jeffrey Robbins responded to a report of automobile theft at Pioneer Telephone, 301 N. 5th St.

Kurt Francis reportedly stated his 2016 Dodge Ram had been stolen from the parking lot.

Items in the vehicle included a 9mm handgun, child’s bicycle and tricycle and the title to the vehicle, the report said.

The reported value of the vehicle was $25,000 and other items’ total value was $640.
