Kingfisher police investigate traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
September 8, 4:50 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.
Jerry Hall, 70, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Chevrolet, was in the center westbound lane of S.H. 33 and stopped at the traffic signal of U.S. 81/S.H. 33 intersection.
Glen Miller, 23, Quinter, Kan., driving a 2004 Dodge, was in the outside westbound lane of S.H. 33 and stopped at the traffic signal.
According to the report, Miller attempted to turn right onto northbound U.S. 81 and the travel trailer his vehicle was towing struck the Hall vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Hall vehicle and no damage to Miller vehicle and travel trailer.
No injuries were reported. Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
September 11, 11:03 a.m. - At 1609 S. Main St.
Jade Nance, 45, Yukon, driving a 2021 Dodge, was stopped in the parking lot of Jacket Express, 1609 S. Main St. and waiting to merge onto U.S. 81.
A 16-year-old male, Kingfi sher, driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, was directly behind the Nance vehicle.
According to the report, the Nance vehicle was towing a trailer and attempted back up and struck the 16-yearold’s vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported. Officer Justin Conner investigated the accident.
September 14, 1:25 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
Sydney Jones, 24, Kingfi sher, driving a 2007 Chrysler, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
Kevin Odell, 35, Kingfisher, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Jones vehicle attempted to merge into the inside lane and struck the Odell vehicle.
Functional damage was reported to the Jones vehicle and minor damage to the Odell vehicle.
No injuries were reported. Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.
