Kingfisher police investigations
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
June 19 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.
Officer Charles Trout responded to a report of a domestic altercation in the 800 block of South Third Street.
June 19 - Public intoxication.
Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of intoxicated individuals at The Shed Grill & Bar, 1505 S. Main St.
According to the report, Hollon and Officer Tyler Girten made contact with two male suspects, who both exhibited signs of intoxication.
The suspects indicated they were staying at a local hotel and officers transported the suspects to the location, the report said.
According to the report, it was determined the 49-year-old male suspect was not staying at the hotel, but an RV park. However, the suspect was uncooperative and would not inform the officers of the location, the report said.
The suspect was then arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
June 21 - Malicious injury/destruction of property.
Officer Aaron Schlegel responded to a report of property damage in the 700 block of South Sixth Street.
According to the report, Brandy Compton stated she discovered a broken window at her residence.
Schlegel and Sergeant Justin Trumbley observed the broken window and photographed the evidence, the report said.
June 21 - Burglary-second degree and larceny from the house.
Officer Aaron Schlegel took a report of burglary in the 200 block of East Locust Avenue.
Jacquelyn Manzanares reportedly stated a washer, dryer, three push mowers, electric fireplace and 55 inch TV had been taken from her residence.
According to the report, Manzanares stated the garage door had been left unlocked to provide access to their property for another individual, but an inside garage door knob had been drilled out and changed as well as a lock on an interior door had been cut off.
Schlegel said in his report he was informed the residence is in tribal ownership and Manzanares indicated she would make contact with the tribal authority regarding the incident and inform Schlegel regarding the information obtained.
June 24 - Leaving scene of accident involving damage.
Officer Aaron Schlege took a report of property damage in the 500 block of South Fifth Street.
Gary Hampton reportedly stated a vehicle backed out of a driveway across the street from his residence, struck his mailbox and left the scene.
According to the report, Schlegel observed surveillance footage of the incident and made contact with a passenger of the vehicle at the neighboring residence.
Schlegel said in his report that he located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop for a defective brake light and also observed damage to the driver’s side tail light.
The 51-year-old male suspect stated he was unaware he had struck the mailbox, but indicated he would pay for it, which Hampton later agreed to, the report said.
The reported value of the mailbox was $22.
June 26 - Burglary-second degree.
Officer Justin Conner took a report of theft in the 300 block of West Bowman.
Heather Derrick-Dile and Jesse Derrick reportedly stated Heather’s wallet was stolen out of their vehicle overnight.
According to the report, contents of the wallet included $400 in cash, several debit cards, driver’s license and other items.
