Kingfisher police reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

December 13 - Burglary-second degree. Officer Ryan Gibson responded to a report of theft in the 1300 block of South 12th Street.

According to the report, Mireya Padilla observed on her doorbell camera three unknown individuals pull into her driveway, exit the vehicle and walk toward the back of her residence.

Padilla reportedly stated she noticed a string trimmer, electric chainsaw and various tools were missing and the last time she had observed the items was around Thanksgiving.

Officers posted images of the suspects on the Kingfisher Police Department Facebook page in an attempt to identify the individuals, according to the report.

On Dec. 14, a resident reported that he recognized the suspects and identifying information was provided to officers, the report said.

Gibson said in his report that the suspects were contacted and admitted to looking at rent houses, but denied the theft.

According to the report, the video surveillance did not provide footage in the back yard of the residence.

The total reported value of the missing items was $750.

Officer Justin Conner assisted with the investigation. December 14 - No driv

December 14 - No driver’s license and expired license plates. Officer Aaron Schlegel said in his report he observed a vehicle with an expired tag on southbound U.S. 81 near Will Rogers Drive and initiated a traffic stop.

According to the report, the 45-year-old male driver was driving without a valid driver’s license and had two previous citations for the same offense.

The suspect was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a license and operating a motor vehicle on which all taxes due state have not been paid, the report said.
