Kingfisher Rotarians hosts 6 KHS seniors
Six Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining the local civic group were Anna Massey, Siera Stitt, Libbie Barnett, Kate Henderson, Ashley Casillas and Chloe Blair.
Massey is the daughter of Mitch and Tamara Massey.
She’s active in STUCO, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 Class 4A cheerleading state championship team and the 2021 Class 4A cheerleading academic state championship team.
Massey is also an elementary aide, involved in the Center of Family Love, Meals on Wheels and the First Christian Church.
She plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College at Stillwater and major in elementary education.
Stitt is the daughter of Russell and Rebecca Stitt.
She’s active in STUCO, FCA, Students Stepping Up, track and is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.
Stitt is also on the CFL Teen Board and involved in Limitless Church.
She plans to attend NOC-Stillwater and then transfer to OSU-OKC to major in cardiovascular sonography.
Barnett is the daughter of Fay and Tiffanie Barnett.
She’s active in STUCO, FCA, Students Stepping Up, CFL Teen Board, cheerleading and was a member of the 2023 Class 4A cheerleading state championship team and the 2021 Class 4A cheerleading academic state championship team.
Barnett was also an Oklahoma Girls State delegate, Royal International Miss International talent winner, received the 4.0 Award and Student of the Month, was a Distinguished Young Woman contestant and involved in LifeChurch.
She plans to attend Oklahoma State University to major in nutrition/pre-law and then pursue a law degree focused on medical malpractice.
Henderson is the daughter of Randy and Sarah Henderson.
She’s active in STUCO, FCA, serves as president of Students Stepping Up and historian of the National Honor Society and is a member of the Oklahoma Honor Society.
Henderson also served as freshman class vice president, is on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll, received the 4.0 Award, Academic Award, English II and Spanish II subject awards and is involved in Limitless Church.
She plans to attend OSU and major in nursing.
Casillas is the daugh-ter of Alfonso and Maria Casillas.
She’s active in FFA, FCA, Students Stepping Up, STUCO, cheerleading and track.
Casillas is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society, was a state winner in conduct of chapter meetings, went to nationals in parliamentary procedure and was a member of the 2023 Class 4A cheerleading state championship team and the 2021 Class 4A cheerleading academic state championship team.
She’s also involved in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Center of Family Love.
Casillas plans to attend OSU and major in biochemistry, then pursue a career in dentistry.
Blair is the daughter of David and Shelley Blair.
She’s active in FFA, basketball, STUCO, FCA, Students Stepping Up, received Student of the Month and is a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society.
Blair has served as FFA secretary and reporter, received the Star Greenhand Award, was conduct of chapter meetings state champion and national semifinalist, parliamentary procedure state champion, ag issues national semifinalist and is involved in the First Baptist Church.
She plans to attend OSU and pursue a degree in agribusiness or general business.
