Five Kingfisher High School seniors were guests recently at a meeting of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.

Joining the local civic group were Ivy Hartman, Caden Kitchens, Mayce Gibson, Lily Fletcher and Courtney Butts.

Hartman is the daughter of Chad and Leah Hartman.

She’s active in FFA, cheerleading, was selected as a Student of the Month and served as FFA president and cheer captain.

Hartman is a threetime FFA state champion and was a member of the third place National FFA conduct of chapter meeting team, National FFA parliamentary procedure semifinalist team and National FFA qualifying agricultural issues forum team.

She also received a perfect test score on the National FFA conduct of chapter meetings and was named a National Merit Small-Town Rural Scholar and National Merit Commended Scholar.

Hartman plans to major in biochemistry and molecular biology (premed) at Oklahoma State University.

Kitchens is the son of Stacy and Coni Kitchens.

He’s active in basketball, tennis, FFA, STUCO, served as FFA secretary, is a member of the National Honor Society and was listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Kitchens was also a member of two basketball state championship teams and the FFA meats evaluation state champion team and received FFA meats evaluation state high individual.

Kitchens plans to major in agribusiness at OSU.

Gibson is the daughter of Ryan and Ashley Gibson.

She’s active in FFA, STUCO, served as a football manager and FFA vice president and was named Student of the Month.

Gibson is a member of the National Honor Society, FFA meats evaluation state champion team and national conduct of chapter meetings third place team.

She also received the national outstanding chair in parliamentary procedure and was listed on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll.

Gibson plans to major in psychology at OSU.

Fletcher is the daughter of Jamie and Teresa Fletcher.

She’s active in photography and served as chief photographer, was a member of OERB Student Board of Directors and was listed on the principal’s honor roll.

Fletcher was a two-time winner in state photography contests and was named Student of the Month.

She plans to major in pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Butts is the daughter of Shawna Fulks and Richard Butts.

She’s active in cheerleading, soccer, was a three-time state qualifier and academic state champion in cheerleading and received nursing certifications from Chisholm Trail Technology Center.

Butts plans to earn her CNA license and major in nursing at the University of Central Oklahoma.
