Kingfisher traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: August 17, 7:45 a.m. At U.S. 81 and Chisholm Avenue.
Kimberly Givens, 52, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Buick, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
Danny Green, 48, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Chrysler, was eastbound on Chisholm Avenue and attempted to merge onto U.S. 81 and struck the Givens vehicle in the passenger side.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Derek Grassmann investigated the accident.
August 25, 12:15 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and North Court Street.
Brandon Duffy, 37, Kingfi sher, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban, was parked in K&S Tire parking lot, 816 N. Court St.
Craig Buter, Fremont, Mich., driving a 2006 International tractor-trailer, was attempting to back up in K&S parking lot and struck the Duffy vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Buter vehicle and no damage to the Duffy vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

August 29, 12:45 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
Kyle Cantellay, 31, Kingfi sher, driving a 2017 Nissan, was southbound on U.S. 81 near the intersection of Will Rogers Drive.
Doris Broyles, Kingfisher, 59, driving a 2019 GMC Yukon, was eastbound on West Will Rogers.
According to the report, the Broyles vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto northbound U.S. 81 and was struck by the Cantellay vehicle which had failed to yield at the traffic signal.
Functional damage was reported to the Cantellay vehicle and disabling damage to the Broyles vehicle.
Broyles sustained possible unknown injuries, according to the police report.

September 1, 10:40 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.
Jason Goodpasture, 46, Enid, driving a 2021 Mazda CX-9, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 near S.H. 33 intersection.
A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Kia, was eastbound exiting Casey’s General Store parking lot, 102 S. Main St.
According to the report, the 16-year-old driver attempted to turn left onto U.S. 81 and struck the Goodpasture vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

September 3, 11:42 a.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.
Gabriel Rodriguez-Meraz, 44, Watonga, driving a 2013 Chevrolet, was eastbound in the Walmart parking lot and struck a pole.
Disabling damage was reported to the Rodriguez- Meraz vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
