KPD investigates area traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
February 18, 8:15 a.m. - At South Ninth Street and West Oklahoma Avenue.
Jenny Snow, 41, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Buick, was southbound on South Ninth Street.
Shearie Dunn, 34, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Ford Explorer, was westbound on West Oklahoma Avenue.
According to the report, the Dunn vehicle failed to yield and struck the Snow vehicle.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
Captain Travis Gray investigated the accident.
February 25, 8:10 a.m. - At East Erwin Avenue and South Sixth Street.
Cody McCracken, 24, El Reno, driving a 2006 Chevrolet, was eastbound on East Erwin Avenue.
Blaise Pinkston, 21, Kingfisher, driving a 2005 Chevrolet, was southbound on South Sixth Street.
According to the report, the McCracken vehicle failed to yield at the stop sign due to ice on the roadway and was struck in the rear driver’s side by the Pinkston vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
Officer Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.
February 27, 9:15 a.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.
Gabrielle Winegeart, 28, Okarche, driving a 2017 Buick Enclave, was parked in a parking space in the Walmart parking lot.
Angelique Ryan, 27, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, was traveling through the parking lot.
The Winegeart vehicle attempted to back out of the parking space and struck the Winegeart vehicle in the front passenger side. Functional damage was
Functional damage was reported to the Winegeart vehicle and disabling damage to the Ryan vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Charles Trout investigated the accident. March 1, 9:45 p.m. - At S.H. 33 and South Seventh Street.
Philip Tyson, 57, Mannford, driving a 2014 Dodge, was eastbound in the inside lane of S.H. 33.
Ty Copelin, 28, Newkirk, driving a 2009 Freightliner, was eastbound in the outside lane of S.H. 33.
According to the report, the Tyson vehicle attempted to turn right into Casey’s General Store, 102 S. Main St., from the inside eastbound lane and was struck in the rear passenger side by the Copelin vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Tyson vehicle and no damage to the Copelin vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

March 8, 10:50 a.m. - At Will Rogers Drive and U.S. 81. Andrew Rangel, 34,
Andrew Rangel, 34, Enid, driving a 2019 Ford Fusion, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
Jason Conrady, 44, Oklahoma City, driving a 2019 Mack semi-truck, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Conrady vehicle attempted to merge into the outside lane and struck the front driver’s side of the Rangel vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Conrady vehicle and disabling damage to the Rangel vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

March 9, 4:59 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and C Avenue.
Gary Baxter, 53, El Reno, driving a 2005 Ford F-150, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
A 17-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Fiat, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Baxter vehicle attempted to make a left turn, failed to yield and struck the 17-yearold’s vehicle in the driver’s side.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
