KPD investigates crashes

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

July 24, 6:05 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.

Kendal Lombardo, 33, Kingfisher, driving a 2022 Jeep Cherokee, was parked in a parking space in the Walmart parking lot.

Wanda Gehringer, 64, Kingfisher, driving a 2004 Chevrolet, attempted to back into a parking space and struck the Lombardo vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Charles Trout investigated the accident.

July 25, 11:15 a.m. - At Overstreet Avenue and Park Place.

Allen Prescott, Oklahoma City, driving a 2019 Peterbilt, was eastbound on Overstreet Avenue.

According to the report, the Prescott vehicle attempted to turn left onto Park Place and the semi trailer “snagged the power line pulling it down.”

No damage was reported to the Prescott vehicle. No injuries were reported. Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

July 29, 12:03 p.m. - At Seay Avenue and U.S. 81.

Drew Bollenbach, 38, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Dodge Ram, was southbound and stopped in the inside lane of U.S. 81 south of Seay Avenue.

Hayley Meadors, 42, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 ChryslerPacifica,wassouthbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped behind the Bollenbach vehicle.

Kasey Riley, 42, Moore, driving a 2018 Ford F150, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 behind the Bollenbach and Meadors vehicles.

According to the report, the Riley vehicle failed to stop and struck the Meadors vehicle in the rear and the Meadors vehicle then struck the Bollenbach vehicle in the rear.

Minor damage was reported to the Bollenbach and Riley vehicle and functional damage to the Meadors vehicle.

No injuries were reported. Officer Jarred Tech investigated the accident.
