KPD reports
The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:
December 24 - Possession of dangerous drugs prohibited-marijuana. Officer Aubrey Massey said in his report that he observed a vehicle with a defective headlight on U.S. 81 and initiated a traffic stop. According to the report, it was determined the 31-yearold female driver possessed a marijuana joint, which was seized as evidence, and a citation was issued for unlawful possession of marijuana.
December 26 - Planning or threatening violent act. Officer Aubrey Massey responded to a report of an individual making threatening statements in the 600 block of South Third Street.
January 3 - Operate vehicle while suspended, denied, revoked, unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance, failure to pay all taxes due state and failure to show insurance. Officer Jarred Tech said in his report that he observed a southbound vehicle on U.S. 81 with an expired tag and initiated a traffic stop. According to the report, the 37-year-old male driver was driving with a suspended license and without valid insurance. The suspect was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. An inventory of the vehicle was performed which produced two marijuana cigarettes and a THC vapor device, the report said. Officer Steven Renbarger assisted with the investigation.
