The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

July 5 - Unauthorized use of credit/debit card.

Officer Dustin Brodrick took a report regarding credit card fraud.

According to the report, Chris Townsley, a Cenex representative, said he received a report stating that Cody Rivers’ debit card had been used to fraudulently purchase diesel at the Cenex gas station, 124 W. Broadway.

Two purchases of diesel were charged to the debit card two minutes apart for a total of $200.73, the report said.

July 6 - Malicious injury/destruction of property.

Officer Dustin Brodrick responded to a report of vandalism in the 800 block of West Kens Road.

Stacie Swain reportedly stated she discovered on the morning of July 6 her vehicle had been sprayed with paint stripper overnight.

Brodrick said in his report that he observed “the paint to be raised in spots all around the vehicle” and it appeared to have been sprayed with paint stripper.

Brodrick took photographs of the damage and made contact with neighbors regarding possible security camera footage of the incident, the report said.

July 6 - Food stamps unauthorized possession greater than $200.

Officer Justin Conner took a report of misuse of a resident’s food stamp card at First Shamrock Care Center, 1415 S. Main St.
