The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

February 4 - Planning or threatening violent act, public intoxication and trespass.

Officer Matthew Hollon was dispatched to Holiday Inn Express & Suites,1708 S. Main St., in reference to an individual who refused to leave the property.

Hollon said in his report that the 50-year-old male indicated that he was diabetic and needed insulin and an ambulance dispatched.

According to the report, the individual was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher where it was determined he was not having a diabetic episode and was medically discharged.

The suspect refused to leave the hospital and made threatening statements to the staff, the report said.

Hollon attempted to persuade the suspect, who had become increasingly hostile, to leave, but the suspect refused, according to the report.

Hollon said in his report that he suspected the individual was intoxicated and the suspect stated that “he had recently smoked bath salts and meth.”

Hollon, assisted by Kingfi sher County Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Blackburn, placed the suspect under arrest for trespassing, public intoxication and planning or threatening a violent act.

As the suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center, he continued to make threatening statements and resisted officers as they attempted to remove him from the patrol car, the report said.

February 5 - Violation of safety zone.

Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of a suspicious individual at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Community Center, 500 S. Ninth St.

Svoboda said in his report that he discovered a cell phone plugged into an electrical outlet on the property and confronted a 38-year-old male suspect.

According to the report, Svoboda informed the individual it is illegal to steal electricity.

Svoboda also determined the suspect is a registered sex offender and is not permitted to be near Kingfisher Heritage School which is across the street from the community center, the report said.

February 11 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.

Officer Matthew Hollon responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of North Eighth Street.

February 12 - Planning or threatening violent act.

Officer Derek Grassman responded to a report of threatening statements in the 800 block of South Third Street.

Sergeant Charles Trout and Officers Matthew Hollon and Christopher Mc-Daniel assisted with the investigation.
