Morgan Kylee Renbarger of Calumet and Kyle Douglas Jech of Kingfisher were united in marriage on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at a 6 p.m. ceremony at the First Christian Church of Kingfisher.

The Reverend Keith Weldon of Alex officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Lindy Renbarger of Calumet. She is the granddaughter of Eleanor Renbarger of Calumet, the late Bob Renbarger and Carol and Darrell Koehn of Piedmont and the late Bill Tech.

The groom is the son of Doug and Kim Jech of Kingfisher. He is the grandson of Juanita Westfahl of Okeene and the late Jerry Westfahl, and of the late Delvin and Nancy Jech, formerly of Kingfisher.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, selected a gown fashioned of lace.

The A-line gown had lace, jewels, and a long train. To complement her gown, the bride wore an elbow length veil of tulle with lace embellishments.

The bridal bouquet consisted of eucalyptus, hydrangeas, wisteria and lots of greenery. The tradition of something old, new, borrowed and blue was carried out by the bride.

Old was a diamond belonging to the groom’s great-grandmother, which had been put into a necklace for the bride; new was her gown and gold sparkly shoes; borrowed was a peace sign ring from her mother; and blue was on her garter.

Serving her sister as maid of honor was Meghan Renbarger of Calumet.

Bridesmaids were Emily Eaton, friend of the bride, of El Reno; Jordan Sander, friend of the bride, of Seiling; Kaci Short, friend of the bride, of Okarche; Brittney Austin, friend of the bride, of Byron; Vanessa Wilczek, sister of the groom, of Kingfisher; and Lindsey Schroder, sister of the groom, of Enid.

Junior bridesmaid was Hayden Mayfield of Calumet.

The bridesmaids wore rose gold sequined floor length gowns and carried bouquets of eucalyptus and white hydrangeas.

Flower girls were Finley Chambless, friend of the bride, of Calumet, and Rayne Austin, friend of the bride, of Byron.

Taylor Hooper, friend of the groom, of Alva, served as best man.

Groomsmen included Brody Renbarger, brother of the bride, of Calumet; Pete Phillips, friend of the groom, of Alva; Jake Streck, friend of the groom, of Kremlin; Mike Harmon, friend of the groom, of Edmond; and Keaton Callins, friend of the groom, of Edmond.

The groomsmen wore sand colored linen pants and vests with white shirts and green neckties.

Serving as ring security in black Secret Service-style attire were Dean Schroder of Enid, Rhett Schroder of Enid, Cooper Wilczek of Kingfisher, Kinsler Wilczek of Kingfisher, all nephews of the groom; and River Austin, friend of the bride, of Byron.

Guests were asked to underline and initial favorite verses in the couple’s bible as they entered.

A memory table with photos and candles recognized deceased grandparents and uncles.

The church was decorated with candles, greenery and lanterns. A large gold circle arch accented with white flowers and eucalyptus was at the front of the church.

The pews were decorated with tulle and eucalyptus accents.

The wedding included a unity ceremony in which the bride and groom each poured dirt from their respective family farms into a pot holding a tree, which was later planted at their new homestead.

Parents of the bride and groom joined them in prayer forming a circle around the tree.

Following the ceremony, the bride, groom, wedding party and guests made their way to The Cedar Gate Legacy Barn, northwest of Kingfisher, for a reception hosted by the bride’s parents.

Guests arrived to a neon lighted sign “The Jechs” and large outside letters spelling “JECH.”

The bride and her father danced to “Half the Man” and the groom and his mother danced to “My Boy” sung by the groom’s sister, Lindsey Schroder. After hours of fun, food and dancing, the couple made their departure under a lighted path of sparklers.

A rehearsal dinner, catered by Eat it Up of Hennessey, was hosted by the groom’s parents at The Cedar Gate Legacy Barn.

Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple will reside near Kingfisher until their new home is built outside of El Reno on family farmland.

The groom will continue working at Jech Insurance in Kingfisher and the bride will continue teaching third grade in Calumet.
