L’il Miss, Mister Firecrackers selected from large turnout
Four contenders were selected to ride in the Kingfisher Fourth of July Parade as L’il Miss and Mister Firecrackers.
Winners named from a field of 33 contenders included: Kaura Kadavy, daughter of Klint and Julie Kadavy, and Liam Tompkins, son of Sidney Tompkins (2-3 age group), and Remi Cortez, daughter of Tristen and Albany Cortez, and Karson Price, son of Kayla and Brian Snook (4-5 age group).
The annual contest is sponsored by Kingfisher County Distinguished Young Woman and this year was emceed by the current holder of that title, Katon Lunsford, daughter of Kenny and Megan Lunsford.
Lunsford interviewed each of the tiny contestants on stage at Kingfisher Heritage School auditorium, before winners were named.
