Banks will be closed as will the county courthouse, city hall and state and federal offices.

Many businesses will be open as usual.

Dove season opens on Monday, kicking off the first hunting season of fall.

Dove season remains open until Oct. 31, then reopens Dec. 1-29. The Daily bag limit is 15, including mourning, white-winged and Eurasian collared doves.

The official first day of Autumn arrives Sept. 22.
