Graduates, family and friends of the Lacy Public School (1921-68) will have a reunion Saturday, May 24.

“Classmates are encouraged to attend, and everyone is invited,” said Cathy (Sturgeon) Howard. The reunion will start at 11 a.m. at the Lacy Community Center (former school lunchroom) for cookies, reminiscing and the usual photos in front of the mural, Howard said.

At noon, they will meet at the Hennessey Senior Center (620 E. 2nd St.), for

a 1 p.m. catered lunch.

A “short program” is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be followed by “more visiting,” said Howard.
