The annual Lenten Community Service series sponsored by the Kingfi sher Ministerial Alliance began last week and will run through late March.

Each of the weekly services will begin at noon and will be held at Frontline Ministries, 124 W. Erwin.

They will feature a lunch, which is provided by a different local church each week, and the meal will be followed by a guest speaker.

Speakers and the church providing lunch for each of the remaining services include: Feb. 21 – Bobby Stitt (Lunch by God’s Covenant Church) Feb. 28 –Shauna Rupp (Lunch by Frontline Ministries) March 6 – Greg Kannady (Lunch by First United Methodist Church) March 13 – Blake Callaham (Lunch by Lifeway Church) March 20 –Mike Whitehead (Lunch by Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene) A service is planned March 27, but details have not been finalized.
