Life Chain, a pro-life event, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at the corner of U.S. Highway 81 and State Highway 51 in Hennessey.

The local event will coincide with similar ones taking place across the U.S. and Canada at the same time.

It is free and is sponsored locally by the Pro-life Committee of Hennessey and Dover.

This year’s event will last one hour and people throughout the Kingfisher County area are welcome to attend.

Signs will be available for participants and those unable to stand for the hour are welcome to bring lawn chairs.
