Light snow hits county
Light snow dusted Kingfisher Tuesday morning, leaving an accumulation of five-hundredths inch of moisture.
That, along with .15 inch of rain measured on Monday morning, brought the two-day total to .2 inch, according to Local Weather Observer Steve Loftis at the National Weather Service station in Kingfisher.
The Mesonet site west of Kingfisher on the Mueggenborg farm agreed.
Other area Mesonet rainfall readings for the two days included Watonga .34 inch, Marshall .5 inch, Guthrie .55 inch and El Reno .54 inch.
The local forecast called for clearing weather Wednesday and Thursday before another chance of rain and snow on Thursday night.
Friday is expected to be mostly sunny and windy.
