Local 4-H teams, individuals shine at judging competition
Kingfisher County had three 4-H clubs compete in the Enid Northwest District Junior Livestock Judging contest Feb. 1.
The three clubs who represented the county were Cashion, Dover and Kingfisher.
The contest was open to 17 counties in the Northwest District.
There were 25 junior 4-H teams and 99 4-H individuals who competed.
The three Kingfisher County 4-H teams placed in the top 10 as Kingfisher placed second, Cashion fifth and Dover seventh.
In the individual contests, the 4-H clubs had five place in the top 20.
Colton Burns of Dover took second, Madi Bragg, of Kingfisher was sixth, Chloe Golbek of Kingfisher placed ninth, Jakob LaBlue of Cashion finished 12th and Emerson Belt of Cashion placed 17th.
