Kingfisher County Extension will host the first monthly cooking workshop series on candy making next month.

The workshop is 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Kingfisher County Extension Office.

Participants will learn:

• Making filled chocolates

• Successful candy making tips

• Making hard candies

• Different types of candy to make at home

The meeting has a fee of $5 and participation is open to the public.

Other similar workshops will be held the second Tuesday of each month.
