The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: August 11, 3:45 p.m. At South 11th St. and West Fay Avenue.

Brian Miller, 52, Kingfi sher, driving a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, was parked in a northbound direction in front of his residence on South 11th Street.

John Hopkins, 91, Kingfi sher, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, backed out of a driveway on South 11th Street and struck the Miller vehicle in the rear driver’s side door.

According to the report, Hopkins left the scene of the accident, but later confi rmed he had struck the Miller vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the Miller vehicle and minor damage to the Hopkins vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident and took photographs of the vehicles, the report said.
