The following traffic accident was investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: May 1, 7:40 a.m. - At West Overstreet Avenue and South Eighth Street.

A 17-year-old male, Kingfi sher, driving a 2013 Volkswagen, was northbound on South Eighth Street.

Janice Russell, 66, Kingfi sher, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado, was backing out of private drive on South Eighth Street and struck the 17-year-old’s vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the 17-yearold’s vehicle and minor damage to the Russell vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
