Local traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

June 21, 2:45 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Dr.

A 17-year-old male, Okarche, driving a 2002 Chevrolet, was stopped at the west exit of the Walmart parking lot.

Steven Alig, 39, Okarche, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, was westbound on Starlite Drive.

According to the report, the 17-year-old’s vehicle attempted to turn left into the eastbound lane of Starlite Drive and struck the Alig vehicle in the rear passenger side.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

June 25, 12:21 p.m. - At the 200 block of North 13th Street.

Jason Plaza, 28, Newalla, driving a 2016 Ford F250 towing a bumper pull trailer, was northbound on North 13th Street.

RM Swabbing LLC, Dover, driving a 2000 Volvo truck, was parked in the 200 block of North 13th Street.

According to the report, the Plaza vehicle’s trailer became unhitched, exited the roadway to the right and struck the RM Swabbing vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to the RM Swabbing vehicle and no damage to the Plaza vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

June 25, 3:45 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Hill Avenue.

Brant Means, 61, Hennessey, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.

Madison Moeller, 19, Dover, driving a 2013 Honda Civic, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the Means vehicle attempted to make a left turn and struck the Moeller vehicle in the front passenger side.

Minor damage was reported to the Means vehicle and functional damage to the Moeller vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
