Local traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: August 24 - At U.S. 81 and Admire Avenue.

A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2012 Hyundai, was parked on the north side of Admire Avenue and was struck in the rear by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.

Functional damage was reported to the 16-year-old driver’s vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Charles Trout investigated the accident.

August 25 - At 1500 S. 13th St.

Roger Freels, 18, Kingfi sher, driving a 2012 Toyota, was traveling through the parking lot.

A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Ford Escape, was backing out of a parking space and struck the Freels vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the Freels vehicle and minor damage to the 16-year-old driver’s vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Captain Travis Gray investigated the accident.

August 26 - 1600 S. Main St.

Taylor Tevebaugh, 29, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 GMC Yukon, was in the Mc-Donald’s drive-thru lane.

Dustin Jones, 32, Hennessey, driving a 2018 Dodge Journey, was parked in a parking space.

According to the report, the Jones vehicle attempted to back out and struck the Tevebaugh vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.
