Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents have been or are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: February 6, 1:43 p.m. - At S.H. 33 and 13th Street.
Vicky Hendricks, 61, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, was eastbound on S.H. 33, near the intersection of 13th Street.
A 16-year-old male driver, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Ford, was southbound on North 13th Street.
According to the report, the 16-year-old driver attempted to cross S.H. 33 and struck the Hendricks vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
February 15, 7:30 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Admire Avenue.
Lauren Kravchuk, 34, Watonga, driving a 2020 Ford, was parked in a southbound parking space on Admire Avenue.
According to the report, Kravchuk stated a vehicle attempted to back into an adjacent parking space, struck her vehicle and then fled the scene.
Minor damage was reported to the Kravchuk vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

February 16, noon - At 200 W. Starlite Drive.
Alexis Martin, 26, Cashion, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, was parked in a parking space facing northwest.
Janice Scheffler, 84, Hitchcock, driving a 2023 Toyota Highlander, attempted to park in the parking space directly in front of the Martin vehicle.
According to the report, the Scheffler vehicle proceeded too far forward and struck the Martin vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

February 23, 2:42 p.m. At 1615 S. Main St.
Shawn Walker, age not provided, Dover, driving a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, was eastbound in the Braum’s parking lot and attempted to turn into the drive-thru lane, but struck a light pole.
Disabling damage was reported to the Walker vehicle and no damage to the light pole.
No injuries were reported.

February 23, 3:01 p.m. At U.S. 81 and Overstreet Avenue.
Kennedy Coughlan, 24, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Ford Focus, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and was stopped while waiting to make a left turn onto West Overstreet Avenue.
Chance Cowdery, 21, Cashion, driving a 2021 Dodge Ram, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 directly behind the Coughlan vehicle.
According to the report, the Cowdery vehicle failed to stop and struck the Coughlan vehicle in the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

February 26, 2:30 p.m. At 1500 S. 13th St.
A 16-year-old female driver, Kingfisher, driving a 2008 Mercedes, exited a parking space at the Kingfi sher High School and proceeded through the parking lot.
Hayden Curtis, 18, Kingfi sher, driving a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, was also exiting a parking spot and struck the 16-year-old’s vehicle, according to the report.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
A 15-year-old female passenger in the 16-year-old’s vehicle sustained possible head injuries and was transported by private vehicle to the urgent care center.
No other injuries were reported.

February 28, 7:43 a.m. At South Eighth Street and West Erwin Avenue.
Christopher Alig, 42, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, was northbound on South Eighth Street.
Ceara Ellis, 31, Kingfisher, driving a 2008 Chrysler Towncar, was eastbound on West Erwin St.
According to the report, the Ellis vehicle failed to yield at the intersection and struck the Alig vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

February 28, 7:32 p.m. At 203 S. Main St.
Achilles Branson, 18, Kingfisher, driving a 1999 Toyota, was parked at Love’s Country Store, 203 S. Main St.
A 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 owned by Ricardo Aguilar, was also parked in the parking lot.
According to the report, the Branson vehicle attempted to back out and struck the Aguilar vehicle.
Functional damage was reported to the Branson vehicle and minor damage to the Aguilar vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

February 29, 4:45 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive.
Betty Horse, 48, Kingfi sher, driving a 2014 Dodge Charger, was southbound in the left lane of U.S. 81.
Darrell Horse, 43, Kingfi sher, driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty, was southbound directly behind the Dodge Charger.
According to the report, Darrell Horse’s Jeep Liberty rammed the Dodge Charger from the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

February 29, 1:10 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive.
Sharon Smith, 76, Enid, driving a 2011 Chevrolet, was southbound on U.S. 81 near Starlite Drive.
Molen Stumpf, 88, Kingfi sher, driving a 2021 GMC Terrain, was eastbound on Starlite Drive.
According to the report, the Stumpf vehicle proceeded eastbound through the intersection and was struck by the Smith vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

March 1, 7:10 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
A 16-year-old male, Dover, driving a 2008 Dodge SQ1, was northbound on U.S. 81 near the intersection of Will Rogers Drive.
Rahkeem Revels, 40, Ardmore, driving a 2011 Cadillac, was southbound on U.S. 81.
According to the report the 16-year-old’s vehicle attempted to turn left onto West Will Rogers Drive, but failed to yield and was struck in the passenger side by the Revels vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
Revels sustained non-incapacitating head, trunk and leg injuries and a 43-year-old passenger in his vehicle sustained possible head injuries, with both being transported by Kingfisher EMS to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.
The 16-year-old driver sustained possible head, trunk and leg injuries and two passengers sustained possible trunk injuries with all being transported by private vehicle to Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Enid.
Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
March 3, 5:23 p.m. - At South Seventh Street and Oklahoma Avenue.
Lauren Hernandez, 24, Kingfisher, driving a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, was southbound on South Seventh Street.
A 17-year-old male, Kingfi sher, driving a 1997 Dodge 1500, was westbound on Oklahoma Avenue.
According to the report, the 17-year-old male’s vehicle failed to yield and struck the Hernandez vehicle.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
Hernandez sustained possible head injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.

March 9, 12:27 p.m. - At South Seventh Street and West Sheridan Avenue.
Megan Mitchell, 32, Kingfisher, driving a 2006 Pontiac, was eastbound on West Sheridan Avenue.
Jayme Williams, 58, Kingfisher, driving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, was exiting the BancFirst drive-thru.
According to the report, the Williams vehicle failed to yield and struck the Mitchell vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
