The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

March 21, 11:20 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive. — Earl Graff, 72, Crescent, driving a 2017 Toyota Prius, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81. Joe Hampton, 76, Waukomis, driving a 2023 Toyota Highlander, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81 directly behind the Graff vehicle. According to the report, the Graff vehicle slowed to make a right turn and the Hampton vehicle swerved to avoid a collision, but struck the Graff vehicle. Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.

March 25, 1:30 p.m. - At 1500 S. 13th St. — A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Buick Enclave, was southbound in the west parking lot of Kingfisher High School, 1500 S. 13th St. A 16-year-old male, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 GMC 1500, was southbound directly behind the 16-year-old female’s vehicle. According to the report, the 16-year-old male’s vehicle attempted to pass the 16-year-old female’s vehicle on the left while proceeding through open parking spaces. The 16-year-old female’s vehicle attempted to turn left and was struck by the 16-year-old male’s vehicle, the report said. Minor damage was reported to the 16-year-old male’s vehicle and functional damage to the 16-year-old female’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Lieutenant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

March 28, 12:55 p.m. At U.S. 81 and Chisholm Avenue. — James Ludwig, 75, Okarche, driving a 2002 Chevrolet S14, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81. Timothy Gillard, 62, Dover, driving a 2000 Chevrolet SC2, was southbound directly behind the Ludwig vehicle. According to the report, the Ludwig vehicle stopped to make a left turn and the Gillard vehicle failed to yield and struck the Ludwig vehicle in the rear. Disabling damage was reported to the Gillard vehicle and functional damage to the Ludwig vehicle. Ludwig sustained possible trunk injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher for evaluation. Officer Justin Conner investigated the accident.

March 29, 12:30 p.m. At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive. — Kimberly Sigl, 57, Kingfi sher, driving a 2022 Jeep Wrangler, was northbound on U.S. 81 after exiting the Braum’s parking lot, 1615 S. Main St. Clifford Davis, 80, Kingfi sher, driving a 2010 Ford F1S, was southbound on U.S. 81 and attempted to turn left and struck the Sigl vehicle. Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. A 10-year-old passenger in the Sigl vehicle sustained a bloody nose, the report said. Officer Christopher Mc-Daniel investigated the accident.
