Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
April 28, 5:18 p.m. – At 300 block of East Broadway. — Neal Bosscawen, 45, Sharon, driving a 2020 Peterbilt semi-truck, was eastbound on East Broadway (S.H. 33) and his cargo struck the underpass. No damage was reported to the semi, but the cargo sustained damage, according to the report. No injuries were reported. Sergeant Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
April 29, 9:50 a.m. At U.S. 81 and Sheridan Avenue. — Brian Snook, 51, Kingfisher, driving a 2011 Chevrolet 2SK, was attempting to exit Love’s Country Store parking lot, 203 S. Main St., onto East Sheridan Avenue. Robin Rother, 64, Okarche, driving a 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe, was eastbound on Sheridan Avenue. According to the report, the Snook vehicle struck the Rother vehicle in the front passenger side. Minor damage was reported to the Snook vehicle and functional damage to the Rother vehicle. No injuries were reported. Lieutenant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.
