Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: June 6, 1:51 p.m. - At West Toronto Avenue and U.S. 81.
Merle Kadavy, 90, Kingfi sher, driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, was westbound on East Toronto Avenue.
Michael Bill, 61, Fort Dodge, Iowa, driving a 2012 Ford Escape, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Kadavy vehicle attempted to cross U.S. 81 and was struck by the Bill vehicle in the passenger side.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
Both drivers sustained possible minor injuries to the chest area, the report said.
Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
June 7, 12 a.m. - At Zellers Avenue.
Jake Hopper, 36, Kingfi sher, driving a 2022 Ford F-250, was eastbound on Zellers Avenue.
Evan Willimon, 27, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Ford F-150, parked his vehicle on the westbound side of Zellers Avenue and it was unoccupied.
According to the report, the Hopper vehicle struck the Willimon vehicle on the driver’s side.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

June 8, 1:17 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Will Rogers Drive.
Ashley Vasquez, 38, Kingfisher, driving a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe, was northbound on U.S. 81.
Keegan Magee, 25, Enid, driving a 2019 Ford F-350, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the Vasquez vehicle attempted to turn left onto West Will Rogers Drive and was struck by the Magee vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
Officer Kyle Svoboda investigated the accident.
June 10, 3:55 p.m. - At North Fifth Street.
Laura Fike, 66, Kingfisher, driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, was northbound on North Fifth Street.
Haley Richardson, 30, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, was backing out of a private drive on North Fifth Street and struck the Fike vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
