Local traffic accidents

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: November 22, 5:20 p.m. At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.

Cherie Lemke, 35, Okarche, driving a 2013 GMC, was stopped in the outside southbound lane of U.S. 81 at the traffic signal of S.H. 33 intersection.

Jimmy Wiersig, 66, Alva, driving a 2000 Lexus, was also southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the Wiersig vehicle struck the Lemke vehicle in the rear.

Minor damage was reported to the Lemke vehicle and functional damage to the Wiersig vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

November 28, 9:30 a.m. - At West Admire Avenue and North Eighth Street.

Landon Dunn, 29, Crescent, driving a 2021 Toyota Tacoma, attempted to exit the skate park and struck a pipe fence.

Functional damage was reported to the Dunn vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Captain Travis Gray investigated the accident.

November 28, 11:45 a.m. - At West Miles Avenue and North Seventh Street.

Frank Pospisil, 65, Hennessey, driving a 2013 Ford F250 towing a trailer, attempted to make a u-turn in the parking lot at East Miles Avenue and North Seventh Street.

According to the report, the Pospisil vehicle struck a Chevrolet Impala in the passenger side which was parked in the northeast corner of the parking lot.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

November 30, 6:43 p.m. - At S.H. 33 and Eighth Street.

Levi Padilla, 25, Guymon, driving a 2004 Ford, was westbound on S.H. 33. According to the report, three female juveniles were located on the south side of S.H. 33 and waiting to cross the street.

One of the girls attempted to cross S.H. 33 and was struck by the Padilla vehicle, the report said.

The 10-year-old female reportedly sustained non-incapacitating head and arm injuries and was transported by Kingfisher EMS to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Minor damage was reported to the Padilla vehicle.
