Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: December 1, 7:40 a.m. - At South 13th Street and Toronto Avenue.
Lara Kosta, 42, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Infinity Q50, was northbound in the outside lane of South 13th Street.
Brittania Schroeder, 37, Kingfisher, driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, attempted to exit the Kingfisher Upper Elementary parking lot and turn left onto South 13th Street.
According to the report, the Schroeder vehicle failed to yield to the Kostka vehicle and was struck in the driver’s side rear door.
Functional damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.

December 3, 7:06 p.m. At S.H. 33 and 13th Street.
Leon Kochenower, 81, Loyal, driving a 2018 Dodge 1500, was westbound on S.H. 33.
Destiny Richards, 23, Dover, driving a 2011 Nissan, was northbound on South 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33.
Connie Heath-Mills, 63, Wichita, Kan., driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, was southbound on North 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33.
According to the report, the Richards vehicle proceeded northbound and was struck in the rear passenger side by the Kochenower vehicle and the Richards vehicle then struck the Heath-Mills vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to the Richards vehicle, minor damage to the Kochenower vehicle and functional damage to the Heath-Mills vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

December 8 - At 1500 S. 13th St.
Laura Padilla, 28, Okarche, driving a 2020 Toyota Camry, was parked in the Kingfisher High School parking lot.
Amy Pearson, 39, Ames, driving a 2020 Bluebird school bus, parked alongside the Padilla vehicle.
According to the report, the Pearson vehicle proceeded forward and struck the Padilla vehicle with the rear of the bus.
Functional damage was reported to the Padilla vehicle and minor damage to the bus.
No injuries were reported.

December 17, 11:48 p.m. - At Victory Lane and South 13th Street.
Nicola Rodriguez, 37, Kingfisher, driving a 2009 Ford, was westbound on Victory Lane.
According to the report, the Rodriguez vehicle attempted to make a right turn onto northbound 13th Street, exited the roadway and struck a culvert.
Functional damage was reported to the Rodriguez vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

December 19, 10:20 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Seay Avenue.
Travis Gay, 41, Piedmont, driving a 2020 GMC Sierra, was northbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.
A 16-year-old male driver, Kingfisher, driving a 1999 Chevrolet, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.
According to the report, the 16-year-old male attempted to make a left turn at the Seay Avenue intersection and was struck by the Gay vehicle.
Minor damage was reported to the Gay vehicle and functional damage to the 16-year-old’s vehicle.
No injuries were reported.

December 20, 12:15 p.m. - At Seay Avenue and U.S. 81.
Mona Gillard, 73, Enid, driving a 2015 Honda, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped at the traffic signal of the Seay Avenue intersection.
A 16-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Toyota, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81, directly behind the Gillard vehicle.
According to the report, the 16-year-old female’s vehicle struck the Gillard vehicle in the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
