Local traffic accidents investigated
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: May 1, 8 a.m. - At South 11th Street and Seay Avenue.
Summer Scott, 35, Kingfi sher, driving a 2020 Toyota Tacoma, was southbound on South 11th Street and stopped at the intersection of Seay Avenue.
Jeffrey Rempe, 42, Kingfi sher, driving a 2022 GMC Sierra, was eastbound on Seay Avenue.
According to the report, the Scott vehicle had the right-of-way at the four-way stop and proceeded southbound, then the Rempe vehicle entered the intersection, striking the Scott vehicle.
Functional damage was reported to the Scott vehicle and minor damage to the Rempe vehicle.
Possible unknown injuries were reported to Scott and a 6-year-old female passenger.
Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
May 3, 4:23 p.m. - At Oklahoma Park.
Jamie Allen, 34, Fort Worth, Texas, driving a 1997 Nissan Sentra, was parked in a westward direction in the parking lot at Oklahoma Park.
Thomas Randall, 60, Kingfisher, driving a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was parked in a northbound parking space at Oklahoma Park.
According to the report, the Allen vehicle backed out and struck the Randall vehicle in the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported. Officer Steven Renbarger investigated the accident.
