Local traffic accidents investigated by KPD

The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: August 31, 8:48 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.

Brandon White, 45, Cordell, driving a 2005 Peterbilt, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

Janice Thrasher, 81, Enid, driving a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the White vehicle attempted to turn right onto S.H. 33 and veered into the left lane, striking the Thrasher vehicle on the passenger side.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Lieutenant Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.

September 5, 11 a.m. - At 1100 Hospital Circle.

Christine Kuelzer, 87, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Ford Escape, was parked in the parking lot.

Paul Beaver, age unknown, El Reno, driving a 2003 Chevrolet Suburban, attempted to park next to the Kuelzer vehicle and struck it in the rear quarter panel.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

September 8, 11:55 a.m. At 1500 S. 13th St.

A 17-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Ford Edge, was attempting to back out of a parking space at Kingfisher High School.

A 16-year-old male, Kingfi sher, driving a 1993 Chevrolet, was traveling eastbound in the parking lot.

According to the report, the 17-year-old female’s vehicle struck the 16-year-old’s vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.

September 11, 2:05 p.m. - At South Main Street and Fay Avenue.

Zachary Kunneman, 28, Noble, driving a 2019 Chevrolet Suburban, was northbound in the inside lane of South Main Street near the intersection of Fay Avenue.

Betty Kuehn, 62, Kingfi sher, driving a 2022 Chrysler Voyager, was northbound in the outside lane of South Main Street.

According to the report, an unknown westbound vehicle on East Fay Avenue attempted to cross South Main Street and the Kunneman vehicle merged into the outside lane to avoid a collision, but then struck the Kuehn vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to the Kunneman and Kuehn vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.

September 14 - At 905 Beall Road.

Aaron Rojo, 21, Hennessey, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, was parked in the parking lot of Cimarron Nursing Center.

Jeffrey Curry, 54, Oklahoma City, driving a 2015 Nissan Frontier, was also parked in the parking lot.

According to the report, the Curry vehicle backed up and struck the Rojo vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to the Rojo vehicle and unknown damage to the Curry vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

September 15, 10:30 a.m. - At 101 S. Main St.

Zakary Laubach, 29, Okarche, driving a 2015 Ford F-150, was parked in the Kingfisher County Courthouse parking lot.

Bobby Womack, 45, Kingfi sher, driving a 2013 Ford F-150, was also parked in the parking lot, next to the Laubach vehicle.

According to the report, the Laubach vehicle attempted to back out and struck the Womack vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to the Womack vehicle and no damage to the Laubach vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
